This song is about appreciating each moment we have, and learning from our past experiences. :-P Kinda Sappy but we all need a sappy song sometimes? Right?
For DardisMusic...here's the lyrics:
From Nowhere to Now-here
Today I'll live my life
From Beginning to the end
No regrets. No could have beens.
I'll keep facing the racing wind.
Grab my life and not let go
No living a life of I told you so's.
Cause I'm
Learning from the past and living for today
Feeling everything in each moment every way
Learning from the past
No place for regret
Don't know when or how
But I'm loving life right now
I'll feel the sands of time
One by one
Remind myself
That once they're gone they're gone
Keeping my heart open to the little joys and the heavy pain
To be filled up or broken again.
Cause I'm
Learning from the past and living for today
Feeling everything in each moment every way
Learning from the past
No place for regret
Don't know when or how
But I'm loving life right now
(instrumental)
In between right and wrong is where laughter lives.
Where the heart forgives.
Cause I'm
Learning from the past and living for today
Feeling everything in each moment every way
Learning from the past
No place for regret
Don't know when or how
But I'm loving life right now

lovely performance. Nice positive vibe. I guess I'd understand it better if I wasn't a mindless drone. :)

Guitar needs work, and not really sure it's the best instrument for this song. But, you do have a nice voice, and this song is quite good. I still give 5 stars for the effort, vocals and song.

I like your sound, you have a sweet voice and your chord progressions are nice and soothing. Whatever key your playing in would be the simple way to end it, unless your trying to go more chromatic with it. You know though, if you're just kind of a chord progression/rhythm guitar/lyric writer, as I am, it would probably be easier for you to play those chords on a regular steel string, as the frets are smaller. Good luck with your songwriting. Peace.
