The past edition of the music industry has made money from selling UNITS i.e. copies, i.e. selling 100% content. The next edition of the music industry will make money from selling things that are placed AROUND the music, including all kinds of new advertising offers (think: ads=content), sponsorships, up-stream sells (think: premiums), synchronization, tickets, merchandising, data-mining etc etc. A big shift! The concept is great however will it create individual companies that collect these revenues or will they be direct to the rights owners.
