Summerhill Pyramid Winery is Canada's largest organic vineyard and the most visited winery in Canada, a fitting place for the 4th Annual Organic Okanagan Festival.
:) i love your comment.. i live in Vancouver and am going to be building a log home on a 20 acre property outside penticton, and to be honest ive never been to a winery and when i saw that it is all organic i thought that was amazing... can you recommend any other winery's in the okanagan that is organic, or one that creates amazing red wine. thanks :)
@markbrook111 I've worked at this winery and everything you said is a lie. The wine is organic, the food is organic, I've even grown some of the food for the bistro in the onsite garden. Employees are treated really good. I have personally put wine into and witnessed wine being stored at all times in the pyramid. We never used any conventional toxic chemicals that most wineries use. What the hell is you're problem? Why would you just make up things to rant about? Weird...
That's an incredibly uneducated statement you're making. It's very clear that you actually know nothing about the practices of this business. Do your research before you go slandering people.
Well! what to say! someone does not like my commnets! I try to mention it gain! Nothing at this winery is organic or sustainable! The owner of the winery is laying off his employees any time he feels like, No wine is stored in the pyramid, Chemicals has been and is used in at this winery. but I have to say that the people working here are the very friendly but it is the managemnt which does not care about anything but money! question is at what price! God luck and BAD Job!
You said it my friend! A great message you are sharing! I was there that day and saw Percy Schmeiser speak about the evil bastards at Monsanto. We need more aware people making better choices in what they consume. Everyone can make a difference.
