Today we did 574 tons of base and 354 tons of binder. Tommorow we are putting down 1,600 tons of top coat.

we r doing a runway and there rules are so strict we battled with the inspector till 2 yesterday and he finally let us pave and from 2 pm to 7 pm we had to get half thickness of the base put down we r redoing a 1200 foot long section by120 foot wide hole....it called for 960 tons...we did it in 5 hours .we put the base down 3 and a quarter inches deep next lift we have to run string line...
