Man I remember when I was playing Quake 1 with 28.8 and 33.6 kb modems. I was one of the first in my area with AT&T @home and it was unreal how much faster things were. This brings back a ton of memories. I haven't played PC games in 10 years but may have to install this again for shits and grins. Thx for the upload!
at the end he says "dm3 is mine" - "you better pray i dont start with control"
which insinuates that there was another match. do you happen to have it by any chance? thanks for the upload.

Nice but...

The lag I believe, is due to the way demo's replay a recorded game; One could say, it was due to id tech 2's deficient demo playback abilities.
I'm from Quake 2, so nothing in it is deficient to Me^_^
Besides, as Others here have alluded to, Quake 2 was fun even on dial-up.
Fuck man, 168 ping was fuckin being lpb to me.
I'll end on this note: In Rocket arena 2 way back, People would connect and reconnect with 1000+ pings, as they got disc'd over and over^_^

Nah, it's not an engine bug, it's just high latency.
I used to play like that all the time :p

I think it is not lags, it is q2 engine bug, it happens every time when falling or doing strafe jump
