The Mint Lode room at the historic Peck House Hotel in Empire, Colorado features a queen bed with mountian view and a full private bath with shower and footed tub. All of the rooms at the historic Peck house host antique furnishings some of which are original and came with Mrs. Peck by ox cart from Chicago in 1862. the Peck House Hotel also features an award winning restaurant. The Peck House was the pride of the James Peck family and the community of Empire in the1800's. Today it still stands as a major attraction for visitors to Clear Creek County.
