here is the primary schism presented here- I find myself zig-zaging the line between what's presented here and all I've heard from the likes of Michael Tsarion and Maxwell etc. ; and true Bible believing Christians such as Vieth (can't think of his first name) and Eric Jon Phelps. I'm also a big fan of Josh Reeves who apparently also falls on either side, though more on side that corroborates UFO involvement (W.Bramsley).

@Meatwad52 You couldn't be further than the truth. Compared to any other text in antiquity, the NT is the most reliable literature we possess. The earliest copies of the Gospel date no later than 40 years after the Crucifixion. Of which we have over 5000 copies. Homer's Illiad is second with a whopping 600 copies with a time lapse of over 400 years. No one questions the validity of those texts......why question the NT.

Have you ever visited a religious meeting?? All the time the fanatics keep repeating how they believe in, say, Jesus. And along with time it really seems to become a certain kind of fixation to them. In their mind they are all true believers, no matter what the dogma!.

There is a concept of autosuggestion in play behind such behavior. One? is simply to believe something, even if totally? blindly. And that's exactly why people should be conscious of this
