Couple of questions:
1) do you know how much additional power you gained?
2) did you put in an inner cooler?
3) did you need to put a waste gate in?
4) will the turbo work in a dual carb setup?
Also if you put it in yourself, do you have a website showing the steps, and parts you used? I have a 71 Westfalia I would love to get more power out of and was looking to try a turbo like this. 50 some odd horse power just dosent cut it very well. I am willing to modify the panels anyway needed to get

@galaxian00 It was 106 wheel horsepower at 6psi of boost so about 125hp at the flywheel. Plenty of room for more boost, I'm running 10psi now and it has run at 1 bar for a bit. That just feels like a bomb is going off in the back though. No inter cooler, stock internal wastegate on the turbo. Look on the forced induction forum over at shoptalkforums, there are LOADS of build threads and good information on building your own turbo motor.

@UnmuffledRyan How do you get oil lubrication to the turbo with no oil cooler? Bound to over heat if you dont have anything cooling it down.

@MrHellested No oil cooler? There's an oil cooler in the fanshroud bud. And the turbo has an oil feed and drain from the crank case, no cooked turbo for me, thanks for the concern though. :-D
