Do you care about dolphins? Must see YouTube video. CBC Dolphin Dealer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGpBTRNe_GI&feature=PlayList&p=CA11FCB... "A haunting film about the largest capture and export of wild dolphins in history, perpetrated by the world's most notorious dolphin dealer, Canadian Christopher Porter."

What is REALLY Happening in Mexico? The Mexico Tourism Board and itravel2000 have partnered to launch a consumer-to-consumer web blog. These chaps are not consumers, they are not even reporters, they are pitchmen for businesses.

We also found this:
"Despite protests up to 200 bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops aduncus, Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins) from the Solomon Islands were captured in the lawless Solomon Islands for export around the world. 28 arrived alive in Cancun, Mexico July 21. Two more are believed to have died already. On the scene in Cancun, Ben White of the Animal Welfare Institute, reports that he could hear the dolphins scream 200 feet away from their pens. They arrived in small metal boxes with a sling. No water appeared to be in the boxes. The boxes were dragged across the sand.

A Mexican animal protection group, Conservación de Mamíferos Marinos de México (COMARINO) filed a lawsuit to challenge the legality of the import permit to Cancun. COMARINO's lawsuit against the Mexican Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources claims that Parque Nizuc's permit was incorrectly issued and that the ministry should have revoked the permit once government officials learned that certain conditions were apparently not being met. COMARINO estimates that for each of the mammals captured from three to five dies in the nets. In their natural surroundings dolphins are highly social but become aggressive and display signs of depression and withdrawal in captivity, said Yolanda Alanís of COMARINO.

  • other countries have no experience with keeping animals in aquariums. the US and Canada h have the best aquariums. Japan should not have aquariums with whales and dolphins because the Japs EAT them !

  • @johnianflores why?

  • @rapist41 yeah.... stay away from mexico

  • @NikkiesMommy2008 Yeah, that's what I said, didn't I? they "stay in resorts in Asia". Or do Korea and China not belong to Asia? As far as I'm concerned, they do. Actually, it's not only since a couple of years ago. I think they've been exporting them to China and Korea since way back (even before 1989)...

  • @pvtryan415 As if all mexicans were at fault and as if you're country never did anything bad...

  • @bizaroid Japan has started to ship out the dolphins now to China and Korea...

  • @journeyman47 Nope, they don't come from Japan, as the dolphins coming Japan stay in resorts in Asia. The last time a japanese dolphin was sent to America, or so, was in 1989. Ever since then, only Asia.

  • @sharkfriend For starters, the Cove is no reference as a lot of what they say is just blatant lies. They made the movie in the worst possible way. In the end, the only thing they managed to do, is give the Japanese a bad image, which they didn't deserve. But it didn't change anything in what supposedly was their aim.

Then, I don't know about Mexico, but as for the dolphins that Japan sells, they stay in Asia. Last time a japanese dolphin was sent to some other place than Asia, was in 1989.

  • @rapist41 Uhm... Mexico IS in America... What you mean is probably the US. Only, the US, is not America. It ias part of America. Nuance.

  • ha! mexico is more beautiful than america and their are some of the most beautiful women in mexico
