I was just reminiscing about the time we (me and my Megadrive) spent together and I remembered all the thumb blisters I got after extra long sessions with the 6-button pad that I never had before with the 3-button... Hmmm.
Love hurts I guess..?

0:45 - It took me a while to get used to the feel of the smaller pad and I s'pose I'd like try out a "3 button size, 6 button pad" but, once I'd got used to the smaller size, rough feeling pad and new convex buttons, I was pretty quickly in love.

Don't use a Sega controller with Atari or Commodore, it will fry it over time!

@krzysg1982 Ill have to try that sometime. I need to order a new controller anyways I already went through 3 in 2 months. I think it was really crappy brand Retro-pad or something.

you could play street fighter on 3 button controller. I had a SFII champions edition back in the days and my friend figure out that there is a two working modes, you change them when you press START. EX you start the game ABC buttons work as a punch, after you press start they work as a kick.. If you wanted to go back to punch you had to push a start again... luckly moves in street fighter are easy to engage so playing with a 3button controller is not a problem.

@Shatham3 i agree

@aztc1979 Apparently some games were not compatible with the 6-button pad, so pressing the Mode button would make the game think it was a standard 3-button controller. Although in my experience I never found any games that didn't work with it.

Whenever I play Street Fighter 2 with a Genesis controller the D-Pad hurts my thumb and gives me blisters..
