are they not his real ashes? I wouldnt be surprised if they were... monty python's members never seemed to me to be much for tradition, ceremony, "propriety" etc. lol

Unbelievable. I'd never seen this, but I knew precisely what was going to happen, and STILL, 13 years after the fact, I'm laughing myself into apoplexy. These are probably the funniest collection of human beings ever.

@HedvigU No surprise there. Graham Chapman was supposedly buried with the classic MP foot placed on top of his grave. The scene is nevertheless hilarious; Graham Chapman would have loved it!

It was Gilliams idea to have somebody accidentaly knock it over. He hated the idea of actually having fake ashes, pretend it was the real stuff and so on.
