You shoulda been there for what I yelled when I lost the game at the last inch of the last stage (it was May with the windows open). My mom yelling at me afterward was almost as good.

I made the mistake of buying the Alf Book at the Five and Dime store, instead of buying the ladder. You read through a story about Alf (I didn't pay attention to what it said) and at the end it says "Suprise...Ha!" and you suddenly find yourself at the start menu, all your progress lost. Real funny gag. As if there weren't enough stupid obstacles in the way of beating this game, they throw in a book that, when read, kills you.
