Pennington Named AP's NFL Comeback Player

Discarded by New York after the Jets acquired Brett Favre prior to the season, Chad Pennington flourished in Miami by leading the Dolphins to the AFC East Title. On Wednesday, the quarterback was named AP's NFL Comeback Player of the Year. (Dec. 31)

Favre has done it twice, throwing for 6 ints in in the divisional round in 2002. And Miami still had a sghot at tieing the game if it wasn't for Ted fucking Ginn. And if Pennington did choke when it mattered, we wouldn't have made it to the playoffs.

PENNINGTON is the man I hated him when he was with the Jets thanks to him we won the division a year earlier than anticipated....the plan is way ahead of schedule and with Vontae Davis,Pat White and Sean Smith all falling on our laps.....NIGHT AFC EAST!!!!! It's our division for awhile!!

God, I've always been a Pennington fan. Wish they woulda got him in 06 (woulda won the SB, for sure) and this year too. Both times, the Bears thought horrible quarterbacks would be better
