ENMAX Energy is giving Albertans an easy way to generate their own solar power at home. And because the solution has a low up front cost, Albertans just like you can embrace the possibilities of solar. You don't need to be a current ENMAX customer or change your energy provider. ENMAX Energy will be responsible for all material, installation and equipment costs as well as the maintenance and warranty coverage.

  • I applaud them going green but they are doing it for all the wrong reasons.

if they put Solar on every House they would have a stable Sustainable power source to draw from. Power Storage and Distribution is there problem they will not let us help by allowing us to attach Battery systems to our home Solar system... they Lock you in for 15 Years and you will not see a red cent of Money savings for 15 Years according to the Contract I read.

  • also Burning Natural Gas and coal produces CO2 Carbon dioxide also SO2 sulfur dioxide Prime green house gas.

En-max and other Producers need our Carbon credits to keep there Coal and Natural gas plants running. they are being charged for Emitting Carbon in the form of CO2 Gas. by an international agreement this is why Canada Rejects Kyoto Accord. they will not be able to pollute and make profit by pollution. what ever you respond with THIS IS TRUE LOOK IT UP!!

  • yeah but Crossfield uses treated city of Calgary drinking water for cooling the gas turbines enough to supply the city of Calgary for Hours Wasted down the drain it is not recycled!!!

if this where not true they would have to use Bigger heat exchanges at the sight.... however they are small this plant will be cooling water poor during water shortages our water in Calgary is snow runoff and that snow pack is not being replenished with warm winters we are running out!! by 2015 we will be dry
