@ericoschmitt Like I said, the bass is there. He has the djembe tilted. The bass sound on a tight djembe is less tonal than on a lower tuned drum, plus it sounds much less resonant outside, especially when playing on soft ground. You do not lift a djembe, you tilt it.
@ericoschmitt The bass is there just fine. Djembes pulled to full-on solo pitch don't have as much bass anyway. Plus I think this guy knows his way around a djembe!
