In part 9 the motion created by using the rotating piano stool is turned into camera movement on the 3D stage.

This ends the primary part of this tutorial. Thanks for watching!

  • This is a great TuT!!!! hey what were you standing on to make yourself rotate in place like that? Thanks.

  • @Rfocused1 Thank you! I was sitting on a piano stool. In the standing shot I start striking a pose, and in the close-up shot I've actually stopped, sat down, and am posing the same way, so it creates the illusion that I'm still standing. Try watching the other parts of the tutorial (please? :-)) for the full lowdown.

  • i just watched all your tutorial back to back and i have to say it's brilliant! Thank God I found it now and didn't have to wait for the time between part 8 and 9 hahaha! I don't think I would have waited that long! Anyhow, thanks again for the wonderful tutorial! Keep'em coming! Very inspiring work!!!

  • @akiracon Thank you! It's great to hear that they're still useful to someone. I doubt that I will have time to do any more ultra long tutorials like this one, but I would like to do some shorter ones soon. Again, thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Brilliant! I went from watching the early tutorials wishing that I had after effects to do this kind of thing to now having AE and will be able to play around with this. All thanks to you my friend.

I guess for the length of time it has taken you to do these tutorials you look at the footage now thinking 'Wow I looked so young then back then'.

5 stars for completing the project and we look forward to pt 10 if there is one.

  • That is really great to hear! Thanks so much for letting me know!

I promise my next tutorial will not take 6 months this time, but I can't say for sure what it will be about. I have a few ideas. I just haven't weeded out the bad ones yet.

I have been feeling old lately, and not in a good way. I need to make more movies quickly so I can capture my hideous visage as it is now. Then when I look good in the movies by comparison later I'll have something to remember me by...

    Anyway, thanks again!
