The Osborne Brothers are the best Bluegrass singers of all time. Next would be Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs. My daddy loved and listened to bluegrass all of his life and I have the same love as he did. He is singing bluegrass in heaven now but a big thanks to my daddy for introducing this wonderful music to me all of my life.

Bobby Osborne is the single biggest influence in harmony singing and vocal arrangements--and has singlehandedly opened the door for female lead vocalists in Bluegrass. EVERY female Bluegrass singer owes a huge debt to him, for the direction he put harmony singing in...and his natural 'first tenor' voice is unequalled.

The best of bluegrass, they used to come to woodstock Il. where my my wife and I always went to see them. they were wonderful people to talk to also Thanks for the post.

Thank you. I grew up in the mountains of Eastern, Ky. As I was growing up, playing music on front porches, every friday and saturday night, we always tried to "twin" like the Osborne Brothers. Have you noticed, nobody has been able to duplicate that sound? The harmony between Bobby and Sonny has never been duplicated.
