  • This video is really pretty badly out of focus, it seems like it might have been really informative if viewers could actually see what is going on.

  • @opu It's not exactly a focus problem. I used a 7 year old point and shoot camera, so the resolution is rubbish. Of course back when it was posted there weren't any high definition free video hosting sites either, so it didn't really matter. I still don't own a better camera, so this is all there is.

  • What is your accent? It reminds me of my great Aunt's...

  • @magegirl8 Canadian, SW Ontario specifically. Possibly influenced by English (family) and Australian (lived there a bit) and I was living in the Prairies when I posted this.

  • Wondering where the patterns can be found at this point, now that the geocities site has gone away? I had done the first pattern and was working on the second one when I moved and lost track of the printout!

  • Thank you. I found your video to be very helpful. I had attended a class, but it was not made clear that we only use the pattern color threads to pickup or that we needed a pattern thread for each row of the patterns. You made both clear. I am most grateful.

  • Thanks for video. I've been weaving on the inkle for years but haven't for a while. Trying to remember how to do a rope on the inkle( leash). I remember going around ,but can't remember how to do it. I've made dog collors and the leash.

  • @evethejust Hmm, well, my Aunt is Swedish Irish chicagoan nun, and I believed she lived for long while in Colarado... so... well, I guess I don't see any connection. :/

  • This is a very well explained method. i am eager to give it a try. I have completed two basic bar patterns belts and am ready to move on to new and more exciting patterns. thank you for putting this out there for those of us who do not have access to other more experienced weavers.

  • @storm5683

    I've updated the website link.
