*Back at the park.*
(Everyone notices Demi is isolating herself so they go to her and pull her off her swing)
Demi - HEY!
Selena - Come on let's play tag.
Demi - Maybe later.
Selena - Come on Demi you love playing tag. Remember we always use to play tag when we were little kids?
Miley - Come on Demi.
Nick - Demi please.
Cody - Please.
Demi - Alright fine.
Selena - Yay! Ok you're it.
Demi - Why me?
Selena - Because you are! Now catch us if you can.
(Demi starts chasing everyone. She tries to get Nick but hes too fast. She almost got Selena but Selena tricked her. She chases Miley and gets her.)
Demi - (to Miley) You're it!
Miley - Aww man!
(Miley goes after Cody. Nick gives Selena a piggy back ride and runs away from Miley. Demi is close by Cody. Miley finally got Cody.
Miley - Now you're it! (sticks out her tongue at Cody.)
*Meanwhile Joe is walking towards the playground. He sees everyone having fun.*
Joe - There she is. (keeps his eyes locked on Demi. Cody tries to get Nick and Selena but he couldn't catch them. He goes for Miley but runs away. Demi was starting to lose her energy. He goes after her, picks her up from her waist. Miley gets a little jealous. Selena is worried.)
Demi - Cody! Put me down! (Joes smile turns into a frown, he hides behind a tree that pretty close by to where they are.)
Cody - You're it! Again!
Demi - Oooooh you are going to pay for that! (she runs after Cody and tackles him to the ground. Joe is behind the tree, peeking every once in a while.)
Joe - (looking at them) They're having so much fun. I knew I shouldve just stayed home. (Miley sees Joe.)
Miley - Hey isn't that Joe over there?
Selena - Where? (looks around and sees Joe. Joe is so concentrated on Demi and Cody he didn't notice he was spotted.)
Nick - JOE! HEY BRO! Come here! (Nick yells from a distance. Immediately Demi got up and looked but Joe hid again and she saw no one.)
Joe - Oh no, I better get out of here. (starts walking, everyone but Demi and Cody who was still on the floor goes up to him)
Miley - Come on Joe join us.
Joe - You guys seemed like you're having fun. I don't want to ruin it.
Selena - You won't ruin it! Now come on. (grabs Joes hand and drags him with her.) Look who's here. (Cody finally gets up)
Cody - Hi man. Cody.
Joe - (gives him a dirty look)
Cody - Ok then.
Demi - (has a sad face and walks towards the fountain.)
Miley - Demi where are you going?
Demi - Just gonna sit by the fountain. Im kinda tired from all that running.
Selena - I'll come with.
Demi - It's ok.
(Nick looks at Joe and signals him to go to her.)
Cody - I'll go see if shes ok. (Selena stops him and looks at Joe.) Or maybe I'll stay. (Selena smiles)
Miley - Cody lets go back to the swings!
Nick - Yeah let's go. (Everyone goes, Nick nudges Joe) You should go to Demi. Please bro?
Joe - (looks at Demi.) I guess I can go. (he walks over to Demi whos sitting down with her head up looking at the sky.) Hey.
Demi - (looks at Joe) Hey.
Joe - Mind if I join you?
Demi - If you want to. (Joe sits next to Demi. There's an awkward silence between them.)
*At the swings*
(Everyones looking towards the fountain.)
Miley - Looks like they're still not talking.
Cody - This is all my fault.
Nick - Yeah it is. (Selena hits him) What?
Cody - No he's right it is my fault.
Selena - I feel so sorry for them. We all know they really like each other.
*At the fountain*
Demi - Why aren't you with everyone else? (sad voice) I know you didn't come here for me.
Joe - (thinks - Joe talk to her, come on! Dont be an idiot.) Umm well I thought you needed some company. You looked so lonely here.
Demi - (sad voice) I'm fine, you can go with everyone else.
Joe - Ok then. (he leaves. On his way he thinks - Joe you are an idiot! You shouldve stayed. Quick turn around. Go back!)
Demi - (thinking to herself - I guess it really is over.)
(Joe walks back to Demi and takes her hand. Demi slowly looks up and sees Joe.)
