hi mate, what battery did you use and where did you get it from? im want to hide my battery on my xs400 but cant seem to find a place that sells smaller replacement batteries? thanks

I've got a 82 xs 400 with the cast aluminum wheels and I'm looking to get spoked wheels like yours, did your bike come with spoke wheels or was it an addition?

I endid up putting in a tiny battery under the seat & fabricating my own seat. It would not fire spark without a battery, even with the3 kick start. Thanks everyone :)

the kick start is just the starter to get the engine moving, then the battery kicks in to power the spark plugs. doubt thats the answer, but its a thought

xs250's had disk spoke wheels and i have both on my standard 400 and flat tracker 400

battery is under a seat:) (very small) and I have only kick starter :)

Wurth, i'd love to see a couple of pictures of the bike in a bit more detailas Im riding an xs400 cafe at the moment also. Mainly that rear seat and what battery you've used. I'm sure everyone else wants to see aswell. the bike looks great. hope to see some photos' soon.
