  • @2JobsStillPoorUSA so we should keep and smelt the steel for who? which client? just for fun?

  • I am a professional collector for junk yards (no I don't freaking steal air conditioners I tire of people asking that) and I love my job.

  • copper is good short investment daily life its not greatest metal but its in every house i agree

  • *Precious metal in junk, not precious junk in metal

  • We thought you will be interested to know that you can discover how to recycle and recover gold, silver and even platinum from a surprisingly large variety junk and scrap that people toss out all the time.

We explain how and where. Please go to the scrap4treasure web site.

Spot price for an ounce of gold is over $1400 and for an ounce of silver over $35. That's good extra money for anyone who knows what to look for.

    And it's a great part-time hobby.

  • @2JobsStillPoorUSA But what you suggest are the ways of medieval kings and communists. It will never happen in the USA.

  • Copper is like gold nowadays. Remember when it was $8000 a tonne.

  • SHIPPED OVER SEAS. Ummmmmm!! Yeh!! Pennies for us and Millions for the elite. Ummmm Go Figure. Greed!!!!!!!!

  • i used to take those copper sticks/rope to recyclers and i didnt get paid shit for em rip offs

  • @1245678987 Very good! 48 lbs of copper is a great amount that you've collected. I'm not close to where you're at, but I'm always on the look out for scrap copper. Keep collecting. Out hard work will pay off.
