@ojideagu Of course you CAN look at it. You have that choice, but you don't lose oven temperature by opening the door all the time as you would on a conventional oven.
If the light bothers you that much, wrap a cloth round the bowl.....sorted.

@letscrawl1 yes. When it reaches the desired temperature the light will go off. It will go back on to maintain temperature.
