  • Adam Hart David is such a legend. The kind of guy who can talk about literally anything and it will seem interesting and relevant.

  • @EarthaKit2 All the civilizations inherited "know how" by others, where is the problem? Also Greeks owed most of their cultural achievements to other people. Rome was one of the most genial civilization ever, considering that after 2500 years the west and thus the world follows in Rome's footsteps. In Rome there was already what u can find nowadays in every city.None would be able today to manage with the same efficiency the empire ruled by the romans(despite computers and technology)

  • Looks like EarthaKit2 has a grudge against the Romans..they weren't really bloodthirsty...if you think they're bloodthirsty..just to let you know, the Aztecs used blood as fertitliser and thought human sacrifice was NECESSARY in order for the sun to rise....and the Vikings thought that you had to die in battle to get to paradise.

  • Bread and circus....food, clothing, shelter and facitlites for entertainment/leisure activities.
