this is quite good. a surprising departure from the hootie stuff. he is very talented. but, comparing his vocals to a prince, MJ, Stevie, or Marvin? Please. He's a solid singer for sure, and his songwriting is excellent. I am willing to let him have his place as a good to great artist, but he isn't on that level yet.

MJ became a HUGE pop star after thriller (which was what I call an assassin album it was built for what it achieved) but he was already a star before then and it was for his talent

For those of you even mentioning rap... that's not music. Darius can do it all.. to mention people like Maxwell and Anthony Hamilton who are isolated to one genre, is such a joke. MJ was a popstar and a sideshow clown.

HOT DAMN this man can do it all, for sure! Rock, Soul, R&B, Country, a small dash of Jazz... OMG his voice just drives me crazy! So soulful and warm and sexy... I don't need a man in my bed, just my ipod + Darius! Of course...Darius himself would be nice. Hey, a girl can dream!
