This is an example of using Quickeys with Digital Performer to speed up common MIDI editing techniques. The shortcuts are often based off of DP's own key commands, and then adds an extra step or function to them. In this example a midi selection is high-lighted, and then put through four common quantizing functions: 16th notes, 8th notes, 4th notes, and then Whole notes. I manually step backwards to the original state, and then scale the midi by 50% twice, and then by 200% twice. The midi is then transposed up one octave, and then back down one octave.
