Jason is with me in all my mechanical endeavours...I still use some tools we used for our bikes when we were kids.

you missed one key element!! cleaning the calipers sliding surfaces and putting never seize on them. or as you call it copperslip.then you manually after bolting calipers on see if caliper slides back and forth freely. But i did learn a trick from you on that clip with 2 screw drivers. i have the tool my self.
