  • @pukulu this technique is known from a circus--it is called"put a bear on a bum".

  • This was not a henka by Takanoyama. He made contact before he stepped to the side. With a henka, the rikishi jumps to the side immediately at the tachi-ai before any contact with the opponent is made, although I suppose that it is also called a henka if contact with 1 arm is made at the same time as jumping to the side.

  • @pukulu Question? Is this considered that "looked down on" move. The move that Aran is known to do? I forgot the sumo term for it. I mean Takanoyama sorta has to do it because he's at a disadvantage right?

  • Takanoyama wanted to pull his arm, but it slipped and Yoshiazuma, who pulled it to himself, fell back due to his own effort.

  • oops for giant Yoshiazuma who went down to the clay without much help from Takanoyama, whose sidestep at the tachi-ai allowed him to control the bout.
