@Bonitaymorena - I'm not familiar with the director either. I guess he's reformed now because why would these talented actors want to be in his movie? :)
Sean Patrick Flanery was 30 when this film was made but he definitely could pass as a teenager.

@DickieAnginson ok well I was 5 when this movies came out so I didn't know anything about that actors career. but the actor who plays Powder had to be 21 atleast in this film and even though Powder has been sheltered all his life he's not completely naive and he's not a baby. I think he'd know if a man was groping him or feeling him up inappropriately.

@Bonitaymorena The uproar over the "fatherly affection" scene stems from the fact that Victor Silva sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy (who was an actor in one of his early films) and of filming the boy in sexual situations. He served a year in prison. Some of his films depict sexual situations involving adults and underage males. In this instance, I hope that is not the case, but it is a bit creepy considering Silva's history.
