Lena seems very relaxed and happy in this interview, given after returning from her honeymoon in 1989, although, sadly, the physical effects of her anorexia are all too obvious.

  • I was no fan at all. She was a sweet and lovely girl, who was treated like a piece of shit, mainly by her manager who just ripped her of and just exploited her. I hope she rests in peace.

  • God bless you Lena.

  • It was shocking what happened to her.

  • @yokai1968 ditto..loved that scottish lassie...fellow scot....xx

  • @DIVELSCHILD haha you are so funny . . come on over and I WILL rip out your sad sorry ugly throat : )

  • Poor Lena. She must have had thousands of male admirers but got hitched to this guy who, I'm sure, was impressed by her fame and was quite happy to bask in her reflected glory but didn't want to know when she needed support.

He even refused to attend her funeral.

  • My sister went to Italia Conti, same school as Lena, and she felt the same pressure about losing weight. In fact, she felt so pressurized about weight, she had a breast reduction at the age of 16.

  • looks a bit fat

  • didn't knew she died :(

  • She was a great singer.

  • @xcherrypopbaybe94x that annoyed me too

  • the slimmers disease?!:S
