@Zarabandanyc I believe that, even though Palo definitely CAN be used for evil, it is also a religion that can be used for much good too. I think it's just that many people, unfortunately, choose to use it for evil and that is why it's sometimes portrayed in an evil light. I think it's a beautiful religion.

CORRECTION= Palo and Santeria are not the same thing they are not from the same region in Africa and palo is not satanic so whos to say they cant use a cross

@allwaysseeking: Actually Santeria has its roots from Palo. There are also many Santero who got there starts in Palo. As for the crucifix, in Palo it is symbolic of a sacred death due to the corpse on it.
