last round of mini VS beetle

This was the last round of the mini's VS beetle darg race at york on easter sundat 2006, the socres were tied and everything gambeld on this round. Sorry for being a bit shakey at the end.

too right, i mean the minis are basically kit cars, i rekon we should build one and just put a beetle body on, i mean it is a beetle after all.

indeed he did, but only because the mini slipped his back end out and then the turbo kicked in on the beetle

Except that the original Mini had transversally mounted straight 4, watercooled, and had front wheel drive.

The original Beetle had a rear engine, a flat four aircooled, and naturally rear wheel drive..

So yes, they're *quite* identical:-)

thats called racing though - the mini couldnt keep traction - end of story
