  • Do you enjoy riding this bike? You look pretty big for it. Im about 6 feet tall and i have a dr 350 thinkinga bout picking up a ninja 250

  • @Gagepo Yes, it's my main bike. I've owned all sorts of bikes, and finally realized that the Ninja 250 is the right thing for me. This is my second Ninja 250, and I don't anticipate changing to anything else in the foreseeable future.

  • I have a question, there is another lever on my scooter that is next to the one that moves the center stand. The more I press down on it, the farther down it goes. What is this for? Is it to lock the center stand in place?

  • @takadi Depends on your scooter. Some scooters have a kickstarter about there, but your owner's manual should explain it. I've never heard of something to lock the centerstand in place.

  • why not just put the side stand and then use the center stand?? plus that way u know the bike ain't going to tip on u

  • @sukish1 You could do that if you wanted to, but it will only help if the bike falls toward you (which is comparatively easy to recover from anyway). If the bike falls away, it's going over.

  • Just something of note... In the uk we perform this as part of our licence tests, do you not have this taught/tested in the US? Seen a lot of people confused about using a centre stand

  • @stot3 you do the same in reverse. The centrestand in it's half up/half down state should stop your bike from rolling forward. You only mount a bike on a centerstand if it's something like a GS where the stand forms part of a step to actually mount the bike.

  • @stot3

sit on your bike and hold your clutch

    and Roll Forward

  • This is the kind of thing that makes me really appreciate YouTube and the internet in general. Where else would I have found this information in video form?

  • Awesome video! Thank you very much!

  • IanJSeattle, you are "grand" man and for you it;s easy... If motorcycle is really heavy and person is "low weight" that should use left feet, instead of right, and it would be more easier because the emphasis to centralstand will be larger and more efficient.
