ya they cheated they changed the field of view on the sandy bridge gpu so that it didn't need to process as much data

Llano will pretty much kick this CPU butt. The only thing that will save Intel is for him to buy nVidia.

@jwarrior343 wrong when compared to 1st gen chips they have only imporved a bit! only a small increase in performance but yeah when compared to core 2 duo or pentium 4 !! yeh its super fast

@sm1tty5569 what do you mean? like i remeber the performacne demo for cinebench they had the 1st gen i7 clocked at am measly 1.3ghz and the 2nd gen clocked at 3.0ghz!@

but the thing is, this integrated graphics arent meant to replace the current gpu cpu standard, its just a step forward into that eventual integration, as things stand now what could happen is to use the integrated graphics along with a standard gpu card so you get that extra bit of performance.

eventually we wont need anymore graphics cards, as the integrated graphics on the cpu's become more refined and powerfull. think about it being able to buy a processor that will out match a gtx 580 sli

Sandy Bridge wird sich sicher in der laptopbranche ausbreiten aber in mein Rechner kommt sicher keins rein
