Sonic Advance 2 - Full Playthrough [Amy]

Last one is Amy Rose, she's an unlockable character in this game. To play as her you need to collect all Chaos Emeralds with Sonic, Cream, Tails and Knuckles and defeat Eggman as Super Sonic in True Area 53.

Anyway, that's the end of my Sonic Advance 2 playthrough. Hope you enjoyed watching these videos as much as I enjoyed making them.

@TJhoseph504 And when I say 'powerful', I meant in terms of speed. She was able to climb vertical areas very fast and use that ability to help her take high roads that much easier.

@TJhoseph504 THe difficulty in using Amy was the fact that when jumping normally, you didn't auto-kill enemies if you hit them on an un-spiked side. Without Hammer Whirl being properly timed, you would take damage if you hit an enemy. And the inability to use the spin dash meant you needed to play cautiously, conflicting with the speed factor of the series. Her abilities made you focus on the platforming aspect of the game more than the speed one.

@gamemaster0422 powerful? but every enemy is a one hit kill to begin with besides eggman. I think you mean she can get away with cheap wins rather than being "powerful"

@TJhoseph504 It doesn't change the fact that the main draw in plaing as her, that self-imposed challenge and the skills she had to set herself apart from the others all the same, meant she was a skill-based character and, while difficult to play, was very powerful if played well.

@gamemaster0422 she can play like that on sonic advance 3 depending on who you pair her up with.

I wish they had her play a bit more like she did in Sonic Advance 2. As in, using the Piko Piko hammer to make up for the fact that she couldn't curl up in a ball.
