    This Ceremony was highlighted in the western film "A Man Called Horse" with Richard Harris in the lead role, i haven’t seen it for years, they pierced his pectorals with Eagle Claws, inserted bones, then hoisted him up with hide ropes and left him there till morning

    i also vaguely remember as part of it he had to remain in a smoke filled Tee Pee, then had to stand cruciform on a rocky outcrop facing the sun all day, great film
