  • Yeah, they are Thai Peppers. I saw that too. They're good.

  • A cheap ass dehydrator works plenty fine for a person trying to feed him or herself, and some friends. I bought thinly sliced dried zuchinni chips that had chili powder sprinkled on them and paid $3 for a half ounce ziplock bag full . The guy told me they will last years after dehydrated, if they are kept in the freezer. They were pretty damn good and you could season to taste before drying. They taste like excellent and healthy potato chips, but better for you, and they are different for sure.

  • Yea you can get them pretty cheap, I think i paid like 20 bucks for mine and they come with several trays, plus the amount of electricity they use is nominal. Some advice if you dry hot peppers always slice them down the middle it will speed up the process drying time for 3 or 4 trays is about 24 hours. You can also dry fruit like banana's and make outstanding homemade jerky.

  • haha yeah i didnt notice him till you pointed him out :) thats may garden spider he guards the chillies
