I know nothing about the technicalities here, but when I saw this routine 4 years ago, I literally yelped with joy when it was over.
It's still the most beautiful pbar routine I've ever seen.
This year's olympics is so dull compared to Athens, everyone doing the same tricks, no Marian Drăgulescu, no Gatson, no Nemov. All the routines look the same. sigh.

nope, gatson 2 is the coolest trick on p-bars. Same skill with an extra 1/4 turn

Finally a gymnast with some SIZE. It is way more impressive to see a large gymnast handle the acrobatic skills on pbars!

This routine is so unique and original.
He doesn't settle for the Belle and Morusue that everybody's doing but does so many original skills that you don't see so often. Very consistent and talented. Good Job!

Yeah I know.. not every gymnast tries to learn these moves because they're so complex, they'd rather just stick to the stock skills and get maximum bonus for them.. always nice to see an original performance!
