I dont understand why such a proud people just handed over power. Didnt everyone realize the decline would be inevitable? Did not everyone realize that the blacks would immediately begin treating the whites as second class citizens? The white South Africans would have been better off fighting for an independent home land like the one proposed for the Palestinians. I still do not understand why the Afrikaans do not demand a home land. Look at the farm murders and black economic empowerment.
