Bush Caddy R-80 take-off with 150lb pilot and 220lb co-pilot. 80 hp Rotax 912 and 3 blade warp drive propeller . Landing is at 4000rpm holding nose level until touchdown - the " Walt " technique

  • i counted 20 sec on that takeoff. Is that your dual average? What time of day and like there was a bit of wind! What is the average on flat water around 10-15 deg c air temp?

  • Yes that would be about average for 2 people. The Full Lotus floats would probably be a bit quicker. These Wag Aero's were on it when I bought the plane. They are not as forgiving on landing either. If you flare much more than regular cruise attitude the plane wil bounce up and down after touchdown
