Hey Youtubers. Here's a tutorial on how to apply a simple, yet vibrant purple smokey eye. The core of this look comes from the Urban Decay Deluxe Palette (with a little MAC sprinkled in). Feel free to leave feedback :-)

  • Why are you using udpp and a paintpot? You can use both seperatley as a base.

  • Good question Shariah. I have a couple of reason's why I do that: 1)UDPP doesn't necessarily give my eyeshadow a more vibrant appearance, as opposed to using a paint pot and getting various effects depending on the shades that are used (I primarily use UDPP for staying power). 2) I use both because well...I have the oilest lids on the planet lol. A paint pot alone doesn't prevent creasing in my case.

    I don't think that every person needs both tho. It just happens to be my preference :o)

  • That's what I do too. Use UDPP for crease prevention & use a paint pot that's similiar to the color eyeshadow I will be using, to make the color pop more.
