Nothing but love for the Reuben

They fled like turkeys. What cowards. A friend of mine was recently visiting St Louis and experienced a similar situation. He was forced to use a knife in self defense but since he is a resident of Atlanta and came back home the very next day this incident went unreported. I can conclude from this that anti-gay hatred isn't an unheard of concept in St Louis or any other city for that matter. It's amazing how you can become a target after only being in a city for a couple of days.

This is exceptionally disturbing and my my heart is heavy for everyone in our Community, as well as all minority communities who are hated or discriminated against. It's appalling that this sort of thing goes on. We WILL NOT tolerate this sort of violent hate invading our lives.
Wow. They had 'fled the scene' by the time police arrived. No surprise there. "May not be a hate crime", yep, not surprised there either. While I'm not a fan of 'hate crime laws', that's another argument, there should be as much of an effort to find these jackasses as there would be if a white man attacked a black man for his skin color. The hate isn't different no matter what is said.

@TimSTL My only concern is that when you have people attacking you because you are black, gay or "look like a Muslim" they often continue their abuse until they sadly kill someone. Targeted violence is more dangerous than a common bar room brawl. We are not talking about guys taking things outside the saloon, we are talking about a car stopping their vehicle next door to a known gar bar and beating the crap out of three young gay men. Disgusting.
