He isn't giving reasons, he's stating relationships.
He isn't stating that being messy or artistic MAKES you a liberal, he is stating that there is a relationship between those things and the chance of being leftist.
You clearly don't understand the nature of sociology. Trends are not invalidated just because you do not fit into them. They are called trends because they encompass more than a single person.

The problem with these "Think Big" are that they're really brief blurbs and don't really get into Gosling's full work on identity and stuff. He has a few lectures on Youtube that really go more into depth. I think though its interesting that Oxenfree makes an angry challenge to the idea of Conservatives being incapable of opening their minds yet their response itself with its personal attack shows a broad degree of closed minded attitude as if this were personal and it really isn't.

I love dancing and theatre and reading all genres and I am a proud Conservative. Are you saying we're incapable of opening our minds in EVERY sector of our lives? I'm ORGANIZED? Fuck no. I can't enjoy art because I believe in the fucking Constitution? I don't want to go skydiving because I think we should be proud of what we have?

maybe for like 60%.... however the chunk is great on the other foot. There are many more successful people and thinkers who believe in the Conservation of our planet, our values, our morals, and society
