Scotty Kilmer, mechanic for the last 44 years, shows how you can use a camera to help fix your car. Taking a few pictures of the right stuff can keep you from making big mistakes. Even Scotty uses his camera every now and then on a hard to fix car.

  • HI SCOTTY i have a question i got camry 94 and my rpms drops to 400 some times when car in idle and car start to shake when the engine gets warmer it doesnt over heat or any engine lights are on, it drives fine too, i clean the throttle valve and change spark plus and wires and air filter, i am just wondering if you know what can be the cause of that?, thank you

  • @StalkerStarcraft often vacuum leaks, or a weak iac valve. check for leaks first.

  • HI SCOTTY I HAVE A 2001 CROWN VICTORIA POLICE INTERCEPTOR AND WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE THE CAR WONT TURN ON UNLESS I STEP ON THE GAS A FEW TIMES. IF YOU WANT I CAN MAKE A VIDEO AND UPLOADED FOR YOU TO SEE WHAT IT DOES.

  • @CHIKAGOAZULKREMA worn fuel injectors oftern do that, try my video "how to clean fuel injectors on your car" and have that done first.

  • and if you gotta computer you can go to Pirate Bay where most popular workshop manuals can be found for free!

  • I've actually done this to help in reassembly. But I didn't think of using a camera to view areas that are difficult to get a good look at.
