Amstel Gold Trace 2009

My return to the YouTube scene takes me to the climbs of the 44th Dutch cycling classic that should be named the RONDE VAN LIMBURG, yet which to my regret still is known as the amstel gold race (lower capitals intended).

You can see the bunch in full fury at the VRAKELBERG and EYSERBOSWEG, even if not much happens. Yet when they would let me device the route, I am sure that will be a guarantee for a revolution, and fireworks. It would even shut up the highearted Belgian cycling commentators.

A Peugeot bag nevertheless plays a most prominent role in the story -- aaah you assumed that ended in the early eighties? Watch again :) !

Ja ik was vanuit hier door de Kunderberg naar Ubachsberg gelopen, toen naar de Vrakelberg etc.

Naar Meerssen is anders ook een heel eind! Zelf mijd ik meestal Valkenburg en verder en ga ik liever naar Slenaken, Vijlen of Vaals en die richting, vanwege het betere rondje :P

Dalijk stap ik van fietsen af en ga ik over op de Nacht van Gulpen of de Kennedymars haha :P

njah, ik heb gisteren weer een paar kilometers gemaakt. Laatst was het ook zo'n heerlijk weer, en was ik naar Meerssen gereden :D

boh, maar 15 km lopen zonder moe te worden is ook een hele prestatie zeg! ^^

Helaasch heb ik door omstandigheden dit jaar niet eens gefietst, dus ik zou het ook wel eens willen proberen om een tempo hoger te draaien.

Ik kan nu wel 15 km lopen zonder moe te worden :P ... zoals deze dag. Maar echt bewust van de sport was ik niet echt, tezeer afgeleid door Twitter dat kuren had met foto's posten op de aaiphone en het stevig doorlopen om 2x op tijd te komen en filmen tussendoor.

Tis wat :P ... heb wel zin een rondje ja! :)

Thank you! Yeah I it was a last moment decision... cause I haven't been in the mood to film and such, due to a set of circumstances.

I had to walk great distances, and was too much distracted by Twitter and such and filming. You cannot enjoy the event this way, but ok, nothing happened anyway.

The entourage is nice. Thank you for thinking of me!
