The classic Italian piece is presented by the Russian baritone of Viktor Dmitrievitch Huliganov instead, this time. No intro, just straight into the song. The idea behind this is when it comes to the Italians, it's "least said, soonest mended"!

  • Congratulations Viktor! :-)

Only one remark: it's "venivo dal vento rapiTo", and not "venivo dal vento rapiDo" (it means "I was kidnapped by the wind"). Ciao!

  • Many thanks.

  • Aha, you liked that bit of operification, did you?

Okey dokey. I'm gonna produce a little something just for you, sometime in the next few days.

  • This arrangement was made for Dean Martin, if I understand your question aright.

  • This song was the Italian entry to the 1958 Eurovision song contest and came second of last. Not bad considering no-one knows any other song from Eurovision under Sandy Shaw came along several years later.

Of course without the Gypsy Kings many years later no-one would have remembered it.

  • they should play this tune on the marathon!

  • Why Viktor, how sentimental. 8)

  • He was great. Very nonchalant but you could tell his voice is amazing.

  • I think he´s cool:-D

Next time more power pls like by "the end of the world by Skeeter Davis" ;-)
