  • this is one of my favorites.

  • Thank You Kindly for the better video. I live this song!!

  • @44Kiowa Osceola was actually a leader of the warriors who wanted to fight for his land. He fought with great tactics and bravery. He took on the government and was often outnumbered but still won every battle he fought. The only reason he was captured was a trick to discuss peace and that was how they lured him out of the Everglades.

  • A big thank you to bcinc for uploading the stereo version of the video. Finally, someone gets it in the audio mastering department. There are several other videos for this song on here, but they suck because they're in mono usually with vilons missing on the right channel. Good job bcinc!!! Take care.

  • this song talk about the destruction of the homeland of the seminole tribe

  • liked this when i hear,ed it on bbc radio2 (james taylor cover version) but this is even better, just a great song!

  • It's talking about the destruction of the Seminole tribes homeland in Florida. Osceola (at 2:29) was a recognized Seminole tribesman.

  • There's nothing like hearing alittle John Anderson when I'm homesick here in Colombia... Here's to you John!
