@kandtell Okay, but you just remember - it's because of people like YOU that THIS is happening:
BBC News - A group of 11 men plied girls as young as 13 with drink and drugs so they could use them for sex, a court has heard.
Kabeer Hassan, 24, Abdul Aziz, 41, Abdul Rauf, 43, Mohammed Sajid, 35, Adil Khan, 42, Abdul Qayyum, 43, Mohammed Amin, 44, Qamar Shahzad, 29, Liaquat Shah, 41, and Hamid Safi, 22, have all pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child under 16.

@TheLagunaSunrise neither of us will convince the other.
As I said, let's call it a day.

@kandtell It's either violence to save our entire civilization (no, that's not me being dramatic), or we all just sit back and allow Muslims to become the majority and therefore dominate our continent. Then, all Europeans would be at their mercy. I know which scenario I prefer. Your plan, I'm afraid, would fail miserably. You underestimate the dedication Muslims have for their religion. Protect minorities? HELLO - If things carry on this way, Muslims won't be minorities for much longer.
-
@TheLagunaSunrise "Please, take your head out of the sand."
And do... what?
Even if I agreed with you're scenario, which I don't for the reasons I've already given the only solution you've offered is to say that violence will one day be necessary and I'm going to wake up to that.
Whereas I think we should educate all children in the benefits of a pluralistic, secular, tolerant, society. Ban religious schools. Enact strong laws, preferably written into constitutions, to protect minorities.

@kandtell I don't have an argument? My argument is that the Muslim population in countries such as Britain, Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, France etc etc is growing rapidly, and if this continues, by 2050, they will all have Muslim majorities, or will be on their way to having Muslim majorities. If that was to happen, it would be disaster. I don't want this to happen, and neither should you. If it were to happen, kiss goodbye to your beloved LGBT rights. Please, take your head out of the sand.

@TheLagunaSunrise "Nope, I don't want the EDL anywhere near parliament."
Finally something we can agree on.
Since you've read every comment I've written to you and you still think I don't have an argument. And since I'm convinced you don't have one either. I guess we should leave it there.
In the unlikely even that I do make the aforementioned video (probably not Bradford, but maybe you'd settle for Rotterdam) I'll be sure to let you know.
-
@kandtell "in the foreseeable future"... right there, you destroy your own argument.
Nope, I don't want the EDL anywhere near parliament. They're a bunch of illiterate thugs, just as the MDL (Muslim Defence League) are. But like I say, violence is going to be the only option, and you WILL learn this, eventually. So tell me though... have you had that stroll through Bradford with your LGBT rainbow flag yet? Get back to me when you have. Hmmm... what exactly is your argument? You don't have one.
-
@TheLagunaSunrise I think we've covered this ground already.
Euro is not going to turn out like any of those countries in the foreseeable future.
If we do get round to having an official EU constitution then I would want it to be entirely secular and I believe we should have rules in place to expel countries from the EU if they enact religious laws.
That's the sort of thing we should be doing now, IMHO.
Whereas I guess you want to elect the EDL and have them deport anyone who might be Muslim

If I get to hear of one organised through one of the majority Muslim areas of Amsterdam, maybe I will go and video it just to show you. I don't see why not.
But just so you don't feel I'm ducking the question, I would not go by myself through a rabid Islamic area as you suggest.
But would you through Kampala or Moscow?
-
On the subject of LGBT rallies, I'm not a regular attendee so I'd probably miss one organised for the Islamic areas of Amsterdam.
I've never actually marched in one, I'd feel a bit funny doing so if I was not invited by gay friends.
But I have watched and supported them in Tel Aviv (where I attended the rally after the march finished), Dublin, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam (on the canals, well worth watching).
cont...
Most people who are against gay marriage do not believe the world turns. They believe that god put them on this flat earth to make sure everyone turns right because if we don't all keep turning right, we will all fall off the edge. They believe god created everything except gay people because gay people are really straight people who are mad at god. God really loves stupid people, he made so many of them.
