  • what knife are you using? and what knife do you use in dual survival?

  • @THEHUNTER096 I am using the Pathfinder by BLindhorse Knives, I use it in DS but I also use other knives to spread the wealth to other makers and also use it as a testing ground for other blades by Blindhorse, I know the worth of the PF so I test many blades and tools on DS as well.

  • @wildernessoutfitters hes left handed isnt he?

  • hi dave. You have opened a whole new world for me in the trapping lifestyle from the choke hold trap to the wish bone, also the leg snare trap that you can turn into a fishing snare trap as well (which i love i do alot of fishing). I just picked up the Gerber Prodigy 420hc but would love to pick up a pathfinder knife or woodlore type knife. I live in Canada and am wondering what you would recommend I order from your Pathfinder company.I also bought 20' of brass snare wire to start. Is brass ok??

  • you're dave canterbury from the pathfinder school and you're the coolest freakin survival expert ever!!!

  • my dad, who served in the Rhodesian SAS, taught me how to set this trap as a kid - i have caught dozens of birds and small prey in it - it is a wicked tool for survivalists and all you "fuck materialism, back to basics" bros out there.. experiment with different variations of this trap - its very effective... mmmm roasted dove... nothing like it!

  • So, would you really catcha bird? seems like a good trap for small game. or a large, vulture sized bird or something.

  • has anyone ever told you you look like les stroud

  • verry cool i watch ur shows and alot of different vidios on youube and my sistewr just got home frome her trip out in africa and i stumbled across this, verry cool man thanks!

  • do u ever use a folding knife?

  • @ninjaman217 thanks alot

  • @beardenfilms this actually got me thinking.. im not trying to sound like i know anything, but i thought of the arapuca (i think its arapuca) bird cage, and you could probably modify the bottom of it to accommodate live animals or birds... just a thought
