2010 Mt SAC Invitational - Girls Team Sweepstakes

The 63rd Annual Mt SAC Invitational was held on Saturday, October 23, 2010. On a cool overcast day, Sarah Baxter of Simi Valley ran the fastest girls time of the day and also set the freshman record at 16:41. Great Oak won Division 1 on a 6th man tie-breaker over La Costa Canyon with 78 points. Simi Valley came in 3rd with 111. Mira Costa won Division 2 with 35 points over Xavier College Prep (52) and Foothill (79).

It wasn't that long ago that Semi Valley was running Anna Sperry up in the lead pack of this elite race. She went on to BYU for two years, transferred to Az State with Coach Quintana. Now they have Sarah Baxter flying the school colors around this grueling Mt SAC course. It seems like we went through this once before. What was her name? Jordan something!
