You can cause an accident, so never shine it at a vehicle or an aircraft. Wear safety goggles, and never shine it at another human or animal's eyes.

@fizzboy28 some lasers can go miles up but remember the beam spreads out rather quick and over distance the power decreases so that lasers might go 1000meters in the air rather i have a 200mw thats goes 5000meters

Uh actually it does you moron, i pointed a 5mW green laser on a mirror and it reflected onto my eye... there was a huge black spot and i thought it was permanent until it went away in 10 seconds
30mW is enough to leave a huge blur on the eye...if 30mW can melt black plastic bags up close it can do damage to the eye.

I looked into the beam in point blank range and I'm still not blind. A 30mw laser doesn't blind people dumbass.
